It’s almost a cliché by now to say Ireland has a highly educated workforce. Multinationals choosing to set up operations here almost always cite this as a key reason why they decided to come to this State. But could we be too educated? Recent research has revealed we have the highest percentage of overqualified workers in the European Union. “So what?” you might think. “Surely that’s a good thing.” And on the surface it might seem so.
